This week on the tape

7 October 2026

Archived edition — written against the dataset as it stood on 7 October 2026, and its figures have not been restated since. See the current tape

The week produced no new admissions and three removals, two of which were not voluntary decisions to leave.

  • Kropz Plc was suspended from AIM from 1 October 2026 pending FY26 annual accounts under AIM Rule 19.
  • Sutton Harbour Group Plc cancelled its AIM listing at the company's request, effective 30 September 2026.
  • Headlam Group plc stated an intention to cancel its Main Market listing following administration and asset disposals.
  • Year to date: 37 admissions against 62 cancellations, a net flow of -25; 52 suspensions are on record.
  • The median intention-to-float to admission gap is published at 22.0 days, as of 7 October 2026, on a sample of 5; the post-ITF completion rate is withheld as the sample is too small.

Dataset as of 7 October 2026 · 171 rows from 1 January 2026

Three rows were added since the last edition, and none of them is an admission. The week's activity is entirely exit-side: one suspension and two cancellations, one of them on the Main Market rather than AIM. Against the year-to-date position the direction of travel is unchanged — more names have left the tape than joined it.

Covering rows added to the dataset between 28 September and 7 October 2026, a period containing three additions. The dataset runs from 1 January 2026 and is stated as of 7 October 2026.

1. The week added no admissions and three removals

All three rows added since the last edition are removals from trading. Kropz Plc was suspended from AIM with effect from 1 October 2026 pending publication of its FY26 annual accounts, under AIM Rule 19. Sutton Harbour Group Plc cancelled its AIM listing at the company's own request, effective 30 September 2026. Headlam Group plc, the only Main Market name in the set, stated an intention to cancel its listing following administration and asset disposals. None of the three is recorded as a venue transfer, so none of them substitutes an admission elsewhere. The net flow figure for the dataset as a whole stands at -25, being 37 admissions against 62 cancellations.

2. Two of the three removals are not voluntary corporate actions

The reasons attached to this week's rows matter more than the count. Kropz's suspension is tied to a missed publication obligation under AIM Rule 19, not to a decision to leave. Headlam's stated intention to cancel follows administration and asset disposals, which places it outside the ordinary run of a company choosing to delist. Only Sutton Harbour's cancellation is recorded as being at the company's request. A reader tracking delisting patterns would do better to read the stated reason on each row than the event type, since cancellation and suspension cover materially different situations.

3. Entry-side metrics remain the place to watch preparation timing

The dataset publishes a median intention-to-float to admission gap of 22.0 days, as of 7 October 2026, on a sample of 5. That sample carries a stated minimum of 5, so it is at the threshold rather than comfortably above it. The post-ITF completion rate is withheld because the sample is too small to mean anything. There are 8 intentions to float on record, of which 3 are live and none is stale. For a CFO or company secretary, the gap figure is the one worth reading against their own timetable, with the caveat that it rests on a small number of completed cases.

4. Venue transfers remain a substantial share of admissions

Of the 37 admissions recorded in the dataset as of 7 October 2026, the share that are venue transfers is published at 0.40540540540540543, on a sample of 37. In plain terms, roughly two in five admissions this year have been a company moving between venues rather than arriving at a listed venue for the first time. That distinction matters when reading the admissions count as a measure of new capital formation: money raised is stated for 16 of the 37 admissions, at GBP 1,612,166,881, so the published fundraising total does not cover the full admission set.
