The OFSI Consolidated List closed on 28 January 2026. The UK Sanctions List is now the only source for UK designations, so anything still pointed at OFSI is pointed at a fossil.

What this does not tell you
- A quiet result is not a clearance, and never will be. Absence of a string is not absence of a designation. Transliteration is the ordinary case here — one Russian designation on this list ships four spellings of the same name — so this check can only ever find something. It can never clear anyone, which is why a clean sweep is marked unverifiable rather than green.
- A match is not an identification. It is a string matching a list entry. Resolve it against date of birth, nationality and passport before it becomes a fact about a person.
- This is not screening and not a compliance service. It checks names against one list on one date. Ownership and control tests, the 50% rule, other jurisdictions’ lists and politically-exposed-person status are all outside it.
- Designations move constantly. Before relying on anything here, search the FCDO’s own list on the day.
One of three external checks that sit beside the FPPP criteria rather than inside them: no ICAEW objective covers it, so it emits no finding and touches none of the auto-fail gates. The others are auditor eligibility and the perimeter check against GLEIF. All three are free; the diagnostic they are reported inside is not.
